I’m fired up. And I’m turning my mom rage into real change.

Mom rage is real. Here’s how I’m using mine to push for something better (and how you can too).

Why I do this work.

I’m a mom of two. A maternal health advocate. And someone who can’t sit still when the system keeps failing us.

I’ve lived the gaps and seen others suffer. It’s not just unfair.

It’s unacceptable.

What I’m doing about it.

Postpartum Support International

Mission

Supporting moms by raising awareness of the emotional changes that come with pregnancy and postpartum—and helping them get the care they deserve.

My role

Local Support Coordinator

What I do (and why):

I help new moms in Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and other states find support—therapist, support groups, and resources. I volunteer to help moms feel less alone and more hopeful about getting care they need.

What I learned volunteering for PSI

Chamber of Mothers

Mission

Fighting for paid leave, affordable child care, and maternal health resources that truly support new moms.

My role

Maternal Health Lead - Minnesota Chapter

What I do (and why):

I’m building a community action plan for maternal mental health—because every future mom in our state deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. I joined Chamber of Mothers to turn my frustration into action and connect with other Minnesota moms who are also fed up and fired up.

Here’s the change-maker I identified most with

What it means to me.

This goes beyond advocacy. It’s community.

Through these organizations, I’ve found ‘my people’: moms who are done with the status quo and doing something about it.

Feeling angry, exhausted, and burnt out? You’re not alone.

We’re not waiting for permission to fix this.

Get involved.
