Salad dressings

Use a blender to blend all ingredients into a dressing. Store in an air-tight container for up to 5 days.
Cilantro lime.
1 small avocado
1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Fresh juice + zest from the skin of 1 lime
1-2 tbsp water
Spicy mustard.
1/2 shallot, minced
3 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tbsp white wine vinegar
3 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp honey (SAFETY NOTE: do not serve honey to babies under 12 months of age due to the risk of botulism)
salt and pepper
extra garnish: roasted pine nuts
Citrus basil.
1 cup fresh basil
1 tbsp dijon mustard
3 tbsp olive oil
1 orange (freshly squeeze juice and zest from the skin)
salt and pepper
Asian peanut.
2 tbsp smooth peanut butter
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp grated garlic
1 tbsp soy auce
1 tsp sesame oil
1-2 tbs water
extra garnish: chopped peanuts
Spiced maple cider vinagrette
1 shallot, minced
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp mustard
Juice + lemon zest of half a lemon
1/4 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/8 tsp tumeric
salt + pepper
1/2 cup olive oil
Chimichurri
1 cup, fresh parsley
1 cup, fresh cilantro
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp, red pepper flakes
salt and pepper
1/2 cup olive oil
Teriyaki
1 cup water
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tsp brown sugar
1.5 tbsp honey
1 tbsp fresh garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
1 tbsp corn starch + 1/8 cup cold water
Combine all ingredients (except starch and water) in a small saucepan over medium heat. Whisk and cook until heated through, about 1 minute. Mix cornstarch and cold water together and stir until dissolved. Add to saucepan and cook sauce until thickened, 5-7 minutes.
