Ready. Set. Pivot iWD Event

✨”When one of us rises, we all rise” ✨

That was the vibe at yesterday's Ready. Set. Pivot. event.

Caregiving can be a career and plan derailer–and guess who’s still taking most of the hit? 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏿‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏾‍♀️

Women shared what it REALLY looks like to balance kids, aging parents, and family with chronic conditions–all while trying to keep their own lives on track.

Stories of burnout and trauma—but also transformation, grit, and real solutions:
🌟 SLAG it. Self love, acceptance, and gratitude changes everything.
🌟 Caregiving talk belongs at work (including the messy and hard).
🌟 Speak up. No one can help if they don’t know what you need.
🌟 Let yourself be cared for. Accepting help isn’t a burden–it’s a gift to the people who love you.

Grateful to be in a room full of women building systems that truly care for caregivers:

Alex Merritt - Love Engineer, Twin Cities RISE Speaker, VP Operaitons

Lindsay Jurist-Rosner - CEO & Founder, Wellthy

Melanie Moriarty - Sr. Director, HR Rewards, Best Buy

Krista O'Malley - Founder, Startup Leader & Caregiving App Developer

• Cathy Paper, M.A. - Caregiver, Networking Coach, National Keynote Speaker, Author, Podcast Host
